Artificial Intelligence: prospects, the workplace, ethics and creativity

As we are entering an age of artificial intelligence (AI), we are witnessing remarkable advancements in its technology and these rapid changes are revolutionising every aspect of our lives: from healthcare to transportation, from entertainment to finances.
However, the more we get used to AI, the more we treat it as something natural, almost like it has always existed in our lives. Although it may seem that everything concerning AI is positive, the abuse of it can lead to many negative consequences. From making mistakes in giving a definitions to job displacement, privacy concerns and even ethical dilemmas. We are accepting AI and its risks without doubting much about it.
The main aim of this conference is to highlight the challenges as well as the prospects of using artificial intelligence in our daily life.
The conference will feature short oral presentations as well as tutorials (live demonstrations and hands-on activities) on how to use AI in an effective way. A panel will discuss various issues on AI in our workplace, study and future careers. All students from Collegio San Carlo are welcome to submit their contributions as detailed below… ANYONE can submit a contribution (not only course students!)

In order to insure a successful conference we ask all contributors to follow the instructions for submitting abstracts for the various sections below:
Stage 1: Choose a contribution (Do you want to give an oral presentation? write a paper and discuss it? give a tutorial? Present a poster in the hall?)
